CD Projekt Red Quest leader Paweł Sasko recently said that the studio is still “working” on DLC expansions for. Cyberpunk 2077.

We can probably all agree that Cyberpunk 2077 didn’t exactly get off to a great start, plagued by a slew of issues, meaning expansions and next-gen versions of the game have experienced numerous delays. Now that the next-gen update is here, where are the extensions? Quest designer Sasko was able to shed some light on a recent Twitch stream (via Reddit and TheGamer).

In his stream, Sasko was asked what CD Projekt Red is working on after the last major patch. “Unfortunately, I can’t tell you anything about our future plans,” Sasko replied, but continued to reassure fans. “I can assure you, we’re working on expansions and stuff for you,” adding, “We’re still improving the game because we’re all aware that there’s still a lot to do.”

In addition, Sasko said the team is “very happy you guys enjoyed 1.5 and that gives us more… incentive to work for you guys because you like it and show your appreciation for it, and you play the game – which is great.” is! “

Obviously this doesn’t give an exact date when we can expect the first expansion. But hey, at least the game wasn’t abandoned after its incredibly rocky start, right? And frankly, the work that CD Projekt Red has done to overhaul the game is pretty impressive.

The February patch has really brought a lot of improvements to the game. For one, it allowed gamers to finally play the game on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, something fans have wanted to do since launch. A range of new content has also been added, such as the ability to rent a range of apartments and tweak certain features of your appearance when using a mirror.
