THE Only Way Is Is Essex, star Chloe Brockett shed tears as she tried to find love on Celebs Go Dating.
Chloe went to the dating agency’s London office to talk about her most recent date with Craig, which she dated professionals Paul Brunson and Anna Williamson on.
The TV star was frustrated when her date repeatedly referred to her as ‘Brockett the Rocket’ – her popular moniker on Towie.
“My last date wasn’t great,” Chloe began, before explaining that she had hoped Craig would loosen up a bit on their date after casting him at the mixer.
“But as soon as he came in, he was like ‘Brockett the Rocket,’ and that’s what people used to tell me when I first joined Towie and I immediately got my support. Just call me Chloe,” she said. .
“I’m just trying really hard, to come in with a bad prejudice… I just feel so good and honest.
“And it’s something that I have to deal with that people are going to have that people are going to have stereotypes about me from Towie and I have to deal with that, but it’s not ideal.”
She has also become frustrated by the lack of success she has had so far on Celebs Go Dating and asked the experts to give her ‘a little respite’.
“I’m a bit annoyed because we’re halfway there and I haven’t met a single person I haven’t connected with.”
But Paul warned Chloe that “in this industry” it would be difficult to find people who had never heard of her or were interested in her television career.
“This is the part we really need to work on, because for the rest of your life, and unfortunately in this industry, it is often negative,” he explains.
“And if you go around reacting to everyone who’s doing this, it’s going to destroy you.”
Viewers at home had mixed reactions to Chloe’s emotional moment, with some saying they hoped she would find love, while others told her she should look forward to it. attention because of Towie’s popularity.

Responding by posting a photo of herself with Celebs Go Dating agents Paul and Anna, Chloe wrote: “No. I don’t think I’ve ever been singler.
“And I’m happy being single. I like to have my own company and focus on myself, I don’t want a boyfriend right now.”
Chloe added: “Time spent with @celebsgodating has taught me more about myself and my worth than I could have imagined about x.”
