Celtic, Anderlecht and Bodo/Glimt bosses at Brighton betting

Kjetil Knutsen, Felice Mazzu and Ange Postecoglu are among the intriguing early names touted as candidates for the Albion job.

The Seagulls appear to be filling a vacancy with Graham Potter on his way to Chelsea.

The first betting lists, distributed to the media on Wednesday afternoon, were headlined by the likes of Brendan Rodgers, Frank Lampard, Eddie Howe and Scott Parker.

But the most recent lists rather reflect what is likely to be a far-reaching approach by Albion chairman Tony Bloom and his deputy, Paul Barber.

Postecoglu is currently in the middle of a Champions League clash with Celtic and luring him out of Glasgow looks like a tall order.

Knutsen is in charge of Bodo/Glimt, the Norwegian side who face PSV in the Europa League tonight.

The 53-year-old Norwegian scored in a 6-1 win over Jose Mourinho’s Roma last season.

Mazzu makes sense as he was the head coach who guided Bloom’s Belgium side Union St-Gilloise to great things last season.

The 56-year-old moved to Anderlecht, so he has only been in his new job for four months and is starting the league season cautiously.
