CELTIC boss Ange Postecoglou has been touted as the favorite to replace Graham Potter as Albion manager, according to a bookmaker.
Potter, who has been the Seagulls’ manager since 2019, is said to have “orally agreed” to a deal to take the helm at Stamford Bridge following yesterday’s surprise sacking of Thomas Tuchel.
Chelsea are reportedly offering £20m for the Albion boss.
Bookmark Betfair put the Celtic boss 5/1 to replace Potter should he join Chelsea this week.
The Australian took the job at Celtic Park last year and led the team to victory in the Scottish League Cup.
Celtic also qualified for this year’s Champions League, losing 3-0 to Real Madrid on Tuesday.
Also in the running for the post as Albion manager are Kjetil Knutsen, Norway manager at FK Bodo/Glimit, Brentford manager Thomas Frank and Nathan Jones – manager of Luton Town, according to Betfair.
Albion legend Bruno is odds of 10/1 to replace Potter as manager.
