Check out the Fractured Online Closed Beta during an upcoming free week open to all

broken online has been in closed beta since early April, but if you’re still undecided or just haven’t decided to buy a game pack yet, there’s a free week to try closed beta test next week.

While this is still a closed beta and access to what’s available will still be somewhat limited, you can visit the continent of Aehrn, which is a land of humans, and you can test out the game’s dynamic temperature and weather systems and see how these systems affect gameplay. In addition to experiencing the weather and temperature systems, the continent has a wide variety of biomes and also a wide variety of creatures to deal with if you want to traverse the country safely.

During the access week, which begins May 25th at 7:00 am PDT and runs through May 31st at 7:00 am PDT, you will also be able to access the game’s other systems such as crafting, resource gathering, PvE and PvP combat options, and even try out the player-driven economy. Since broken online is a sandbox, things are open to change. What you see in Aerhen in the closed beta may vary based on player choices and how things develop with cities, regions, and other opportunities to make an impact.

Dynamite Studios and Gamigo are on track for an upcoming winter release, and this opportunity will only give you a taste of what’s to come. A major Summer Beta update will introduce the Wildfolk, a new planet, and some endgame PvP content. In the fall, expect the Demons to arrive, along with their planet, religions, and expanded crafting options.

If you participate in the free week and later decide to purchase a Founder’s Pack for 24/7 access to the beta, you can pick up where you left off during the week.
