Eight winners may not have their lucky ticket – but can still claim

Five lucky Brits won £1 million on EuroMillions without realizing – and only a few days left to claim.

The prize, won in the EuroMillions European Millionaire Maker draw last month, brought in £1m for 100 people.

Now, the National Lottery says 95 people have claimed theirs winnings but the year is still outstanding.

But the deadline to notify the National Lottery of a winning is February 20. If the person can prove they have a winning ticket, that deadline will be extended to July 19 or 20.

After that point, the cash will be donated by the National Lottery for good causes.

“It’s important for any player not to own their ticket, for whatever reason, but who thinks they are in love,” said senior advisor to National Lottery Winners Andy Carter. A genuine request for one of the prizes will notify us in writing by 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the latest.
