Signs that you’ve been compromised are weird posts you haven’t posted, or “friends” you don’t remember accepting.

But luckily, there’s a way to find out if your suspicions are true.

You may not be able to identify the culprit, but at least you know – and you can take steps to put a stop to it.

Facebook has a useful login location feature that shows you where your account is being accessed.

So if you spot one that doesn’t look like home, work, or a place you go regularly — and especially a device you own or use — you might have cause for concern.

How to see login locations on Facebook

On your smartphone, open the Facebook app and go to the settings menu.

You’ll see Settings & Privacy below – tap on it and open it settings.

Next go to password and security.

Under “Where you are logged in” select See everything.

Now you’ll see all devices signed into your account and an approximate location.

If you see one that doesn’t look like you, someone might be snooping.

You should change your password immediately.

There’s also a way to get login notifications from unrecognized devices, which might also be worth considering.
