All seem innocent and normal on the surface.

But under the hood lurks a notorious malware called Joker.

And no laughing matter – Joker is a form of “fleeceware” that aims to steal money from the Android user without their knowledge.

It simulates clicks and intercepts text messages.

This allows the user to subscribe to unwanted paid premium services without permission.

It can also automatically click on ads when online and secretly approve online payments.
