Roy Keane has been offered a strong return to management at his former club Sunderland.

The former owner of the Stadium of Light held talks yesterday with Black Cats owner Kyril Louis-Dreyfus.

And Keane, who left the club 13 years ago, is now deciding whether to take over as Lee Johnson’s successor.

While in Italy, Dusan Vlahovic claimed it was ‘easy’ to beat Arsenal because Juventus was more ‘glory’.

During Tuesday’s launch, Vlahovic said: “There are a lot of rumors about foreign clubs, but the choice is easy because the club and I have a similar DNA.”

Meanwhile, Thomas Muller has given hope to Newcastle and Everton after he revealed that Bayern Munich had not spoken to him about a new contract.

The 32-year-old has a contract with his boyhood club until the summer of 2023.

And although Bayern are in talks to extend Manuel Neuer and Robert Lewandowski to stay in Munich next year, surprisingly Muller has not been approached.

According to a famous pundit Gabby Agbonlahor, West Ham could wave goodbye to superstar midfielder Declan Rice in the summer.

Agbonlahor reckons the Hammers will miss out on a place in the top four and the allure of Champions League football elsewhere will be too much for the Brits to resist.

There’s no shortage of clubs interested in Rice – including The Hammers’ rivals Man United, Man City and Chelsea.

The Prem trio are all set to make big offers for the midfielder, the Telegraph reports.

In the end, Frank Lampard is said to have ‘personally phoned’ loanee Donny van de Beek to convince him to choose Everton over Crystal Palace as Old Trafford’s exit.

And reports in the player’s home country of the Netherlands suggest that Lampard’s personal involvement in the deal is what excites him.

The new Toffees boss is said to have phoned Van De Beek directly to tell him about his plans, which was enough to convince him to move down to the M62. Chelsea make Eder Militao top target, Mbappe ‘AGREE big deal with Real Madrid’, Alli joins Everton
