That meant they were prevented from selling tickets and their club shop was temporarily closed.
The sanctions confused the players as captain Cesar Azpilicueta said it was “not a normal day”.

Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta says it is not an ordinary day at Stamford Bridge after owner Roman Abramovich was sanctioned by the UK Government.
The sanctions sent the club into turmoil just hours before they started Premier League match against Norwich.
And captain Azpilicueta was the first Chelsea player to give insight into how the team handled the news, as he spoke about the sanctions before the game started.
The agent of one of the Chelsea players has reacted furiously to the sanctions news being made to the club.
The sanctions mean that the transfer or loan of players is prohibited and the club cannot sell merchandise, either in person or online.
And that has led to the agent thinking that his client is “trapped” at the club even though he hopes to leave in the near future.
The agent for an unnamed Blues player has questioned how his client should proceed now and whether he has any protections from UK labor law.
