Chelsea legend John Terry has opened up about Antonio Rudger’s imminent departure from his old club.
The German centre-back will leave Stamford Bridge after five years at the club, his contract expires at the end of the season. And blues icon Terry isn’t happy about the situation after sharing his frustration at his departure.
It comes after Rüdiger’s hint of wanting to connect with real Madrid Manager Carlo Ancelotti was uncovered. And the three groups in the running for the takeover Chelsea have been asked by Raine Group to provide guarantees that they will remain in control for at least a decade.

Bidder forced to commit
The remaining groups hoping to buy Chelse have been forced to tie themselves with the club for at least 10 years.
Raine Group, the merchant bank overseeing the sale of the club, has said any majority shareholder in the preferred offering will retain ownership until at least 2032 to protect the club from further upheaval. The agreement is expected to become a legally binding condition as part of the club’s sale.
The sale is now expected to be completed before May 31, the date when the government’s special operating license expires.
Rüdiger’s Ancelotti reference
Chelsea centre-back Antonio Rudiger has already hinted that he wants to link up with Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The Blues defender is set to leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires this summer, with Real Madrid reportedly keen to enlist his services. And Ruediger previously spoke about his admiration for Ancelotti and how well he organizes his side.
Before the match between Chelsea and Everton last season, the German said chelseafc.com: “I’m expecting exactly the same kind of intense game again because everton are a good team too. They’re on a good run and in good shape right now, but so are we. It’s going to be an exciting game and we’re ready for it. It’s a tough game and they’re also a contender for the top four.”
Terry slams Rudiger’s exit
Chelsea legend John Terry has expressed his displeasure at Antonio Rudiger’s imminent departure from Stamford Bridge.
That was confirmed by Blues boss Thomas Tuchel after the 1-0 win west ham on Sunday that Rüdiger will leave the club at the end of the season. And following that announcement, Terry took to social media to share his frustration at Ruediger’s imminent departure.
The blues icon commented, “How did we let that man go.”
