N’Golo Kante could join an elite group of Chelsea players if his side can lift the Carabao Cup on Sunday.
The Blues face Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool at Wembley in the hopes of winning a second silver trophy this year after winning the Club World Cup.
And the Carabao Cup trophy will be especially important for French midfielder Kante.
It comes as Romelu Lukaku has been told by a former coach that he has “devastated” at Chelsea, and that his situation is now “out of reach”.
And interested parties are said to be “on high alert” about the possibility of selling Chelsea.

Club captain Azpilicueta claimed the incredible record just earlier this month when the Blues beat Palmeiras 2-1 in the Club World Cup final in Abu Dhabi.
The Spaniard has now hinted at the possibility of sharing the record with Kante – and how the player can continue to improve for his club despite his promotion years.
