One of the four bidders who tried to buy Chelsea has withdrawn their bid and the Ricketts family have confirmed they will no longer continue talks to buy the club from Roman Abramovich.
Meanwhile, Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has said he spoke to Conor Gallagher and apologized for not being able to play crystal palace in which FA Cup semifinals this weekend. Gallagher is on loan to the Eagles from Chelsea and according to the loan rules, he cannot play against his parent club at Wembley Stadium.
And ex-goalkeeper Petr Cech commented on the club’s chances of winning First League this season.

Ricketts family out
One of the bidders trying to buy Chelsea has dropped out of the race.
The Ricketts family were one of four bidders looking to buy the club after outgoing owner Roman Abramovich was forced to sell West London outfit following British government intervention. After initial interest, however, the Americans backed out after failing to win over the fan base after it was revealed that one of the family’s owners had made historical racist comments.
A statement released today by the prospective owners read: “The Ricketts-Griffin-Gilbert group has decided, after careful consideration, not to make a definitive offer for Chelsea FC.”
Tuchel talks to Gallagher
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has revealed he has apologized to Conor Gallagher.
The midfielder on loan is currently at Crystal Palace, who face the Blues in this weekend’s FA Cup semi-finals. Due to the terms of his loan deal, Gallagher will not be able to perform for the Eagles, even after requesting special circumstances so he can play.
And Tuchel has said he met the England international to apologize for what happened.
Cech’s Title Eligibility
Chelsea technical and performance adviser Petr Cech has said there will be a total collapse from Man City Liverpool for the blues to win the league.
The former shot stopper enrolled his column for the Chelsea website when he said that the season-ending title win is now out of their hands as the west London side sit 11 points adrift of leaders Man City. With the FA Cup still up for grabs, Cech knows they’re counting on a ‘meltdown’ to pull off a miracle in the league.
“We have to rely on Liverpool and City collapsing,” said Cech.
