Abramovich stepped back
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich released a statement on Saturday night to announce that he will be transferring “management and care” to the Chelsea Foundation.
Since taking over in 2003, Abramovich has overseen a lot of unprecedented success as the Blues consistently won every title available to them at club level.

But Abramovich feels this is the right time for him to step back after admitting he is not in the “best position” to handle the club.

What Abramovich does in the future is still being worked on but for the time being, the ‘benefit of the club’ will be left to the five.
