Fabio Capello tries to explain the reason for Romelu Lukaku’s struggles since return Premier League.
Lukaku returned to Stamford Bridge last summer when the Blues spent a record £97.5m on the Belgium international.
But his return is far from smooth sailing, with the striker setting an unwanted Premier League record of touching the ball just seven times over Crystal Palace over the weekend – something that piqued the interest of the former England manager.
It happened when the Blues were in charge of Champions League last 16 draw with Lille as they won 2-0, which included an emotional tribute to Jamal Edwards MBE following his tragic death earlier this week.
This is Mirror Football’s latest Chelsea titles.

Lukaku’s struggles explained
Fabio Capello has explained exactly why Romelu Lukaku has struggled to make so much impact on the pitch following his return to the Premier League.
Lukaku was one of the best players in Italy last season when he led Inter to the Serie A title, but did not have the same success when he returned to Chelsea.
However, speaking on Italian TV, Capello explained how Thomas Tuchel’s team’s tactical setup, coupled with the physicality of the Premier League, have caused Lukaku problems this season.
