Thomas Tuchel reacts to Arsenal defeat
Chelsea Forward Romelu Lukaku was criticized for his performance against it arsenal by club legend Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
Lukaku once again struggled to find the back of the web First League encounter that ended in a 4-2 win for the Gunners. And after the game, Hasselbaink slammed Lukaku, saying the Belgium international “just doesn’t walk around”.
He comes as a blues boss Thomas Tuchel spoke about the late penalty that sealed Arsenal’s victory. Elsewhere, Lewis Hamilton and Serena Williams have joined one of the syndicates hoping to buy the Stamford Bridge outfit.

Hamilton and Williams bid back
Chelsea’s takeover bid, led by Sir Martin Broughton, chairman of British Airways, was joined by Formula 1 and tennis legends Lewis Hamilton and Serena Williams.
Roman Abramovich put the Stamford Bridge outfit up for sale after the Russian invasion Ukraine earlier this year. He has since been sanctioned by the British government for his alleged connections Wladimir Putinwhich means the club currently has to operate under a special license and cannot handle financial transactions.
Raine Group has been tasked with handling the takeover and has now reduced all bids for the club to the final three – with Broughton’s bid hoping to be announced as the preferred bidder. World Athletics boss Lord Seb Coe, Canadian Rogers family, Taiwanese Tsai family and Colombian-American philanthropist Alejandro Santo Domingo have already joined the bid, which has now been given a boost by news that Hamilton and Williams are also on board .
Tuchel reacts to penalties
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel says his players “stole six minutes to equalize” by giving away a late penalty in the 4-2 defeat by Arsenal.
Bukayo Saka won the penalty before stepping forward to pocket it and seal victory for the Gunners, but Blues captain Cesar Azpilicueta was furious with Saka for going down trying to even win it. Saka said after the game the penalty might not have been awarded if he hadn’t hit the deck – and Tuchel seems to agree with the Gunners’ forward after expressing his belief it was the right thing to give a penalty became.
Lukaku criticized
Chelsea legend Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has blasted Romelu Lukaku for his performance against Arsenal.
Belgium international Lukaku was substituted in the second half after struggling to impress after a rare start for Thomas Tuchel’s side. And Hasselbaink was furious at the launch, insisting the striker must show he’s “disturbed and you want to suffer”.
He also criticized the Blues attacker’s work rate, insisting it was obvious the player would not score.
