Thomas Tuchel condemns “Roman Abramovich” songs

Chelsea stormed to a 4-0 win at Burnley on Saturday afternoon as they continue to recover from last weekend’s Carabao Cup final defeat.

The west London club secured their place in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Wednesday and cemented their third-place finish in the Premier League with a win at Turf Moor.

Thomas Tuchel and Kai Havertz claimed that Chelsea showed their character by recovering from their cup final heartbreak and winning the following two games.

However, their triumph at Turf Moor was somewhat overshadowed by sections of away fans who chanted Roman Abramovich’s name during the pre-match demonstration in support of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, John Terry, whose recent tweet praising the Chelsea owner drew criticism, has hit back at Labor MP Chris Bryant.

Havertz and Tuchel agree after a brilliant victory

Recovering from the heartbreak of last weekend’s League Cup, the Blues failed to impress FA Cup Victory at Luton behind them.

The two sides played a cautious first 45 minutes in which Sean Dyche’s men actually had the better chances, only to tie the score with a lavish finish.

But after the restart, three Chelsea goals in 10 minutes put the game beyond doubt as Reece James’ opener was quickly answered with a three-minute brace from Havertz.

Christian Pulisic was gifted fourth just under 15 minutes later when James Tarkowski’s attempted interception kindly fell in the way of the USA international, who could only be beaten by Nick Pope.

Terry hits back at Labor MP

John Terry has snapped back at Labor MP Chris Bryant after urging the former Chelsea captain to delete a tweet praising outgoing owner Roman Abramovich.

Terry, who became Chelsea’s most successful captain during the Russian’s tenure, labeled Abramovich “the best” with a picture of the pair holding one of the five. First League Trophies they lifted together.

He also sent a message in honor of the 55-year-old, saying: “Thank you Roman. The best owner in the world.”

Bryant has been a vocal critic of Abramovich and has called on the UK government to impose sanctions over his relationship with him Wladimir Putin.

Statement of support for Ukraine overshadowed

Sections of Chelsea support interrupted a show of solidarity with people in ahead of the game Ukraine singing the name of Abramovich on Saturday.

It comes at the end of a turbulent week in which Abramovich announced he wanted to sell the Blues after 19 years of ownership.

Abramovich resigned from his duties as owner after his country’s invasion of Ukraine soured his relationship with Vladimir Putin, the President of Ukraine Russiainto the limelight.
