Chelsea ‘offered £33m for Frenkie de Jong’ with Barcelona open to sell Dutch ace but want £50m for failed midfielder

CHELSEA is said to have made a £33m bid for Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong.
But that was expected to be turned down, with the Catalans making a £50m bid for the midfielder.
De Jong has appeared in 24 games for Barca this season, but has not reached his full potential.
The Spanish giants paid £65m to bring him back from Ajax in 2019.
