CHELSEA’s hopes of signing Matthijs De Ligt this summer are said to have been boosted.
But he has struggled to live up to that price in Italy and may now be on his way out the door at the end of the season.
Both Barcelona and Bayern Munich have been linked with the star.
And last week we reported how Thomas Tuchel is looking to bring him to Chelsea.
Now Tutto Sport have stated that their chances can be enhanced.
After Dusan Vlahovic arrived from Fiorentina in January, Juventus were unwilling to offer Dutch star De Ligt a £190,000-a-week salary to stay.
That is said to have led to his agent Mino Raiola ‘looking for a new club’ for his client in hopes of securing a summer spot from the Serie A giants. .

He could be a more valuable asset at Stamford Bridge given his ability to start from central defenders out of Thomas Tuchel’s squad.
Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and club captain Cesar Azpilicueta are all out of contract with Chelsea in the summer.
The trio are continuing to wait for a suitable deal from the Blues as director Marina Granovskaia weighs the pros and cons of keeping them.
