Chichester pensioner stole bike worth £2,200 – appeal to police

A retiree had his electric bike stolen on a downtown street shortly after it was locked.

The man, in his 70s, had locked his bike on West Street in Chichester but it was stolen shortly thereafter.

Police are searching with a man in connection with the theft of the bike, valued at around £2,200.

Anyone who can identify the man or has any information about the incident, which took place around 10.30am on July 1, is urged to contact the police online or by calling 101 quoting reference 47220119634.
