Children travel free on Brighton buses today and on New Year’s Eve
Children travel free on buses today and on New Year’s Eve as part of a bus company’s special offer this month.
Brighton and Hove Bus Company wants to make sure families have something to do this Christmas, “whether it’s visiting Santa in his grotto, skating in the pavilion, shopping for gifts or enjoying a pantomime”.
The offer runs for every weekend during the Christmas period and ends next weekend with New Year’s Eve.
A spokesman for Brighton and Hove Buses said: “We know driving into the city for those special Christmas moments can be stressful, unpredictable and costly.
“So, this year, let’s take the strain and hop on a bus with your family. You can travel with up to three children under the age of 16 or busID holders when accompanied by a paying adult. You are also doing something for the environment.”
Normal ID requirements apply for those between the ages of 16 and 18.
