Chris Eubank Jr vs Liam Williams New fight date announced after ban on all boxing is lifted

CHRIS EUBANK JR’s match with Liam Williams has been rescheduled to February 5.
The former IBO super-middleweight champion’s match against the Welshman was scheduled to be eliminated on January 29 but their match was postponed due to Covid.
But it has been announced that the pair’s Cardiff clash will take place a week later.
Eubank Jr and Williams were involved in the heavy leather trade last December but the match was postponed after the latter aggravated a shoulder injury.
And their second date fell through after the British Boxing Control Board decided to suspend the action for a month due to a spike in the Omicron case.
A statement at the time read: “On advice from the Medical Board that Regulates Boxing, boxing tournaments under the jurisdiction of the BBBofC will be suspended for the month of January.
“A further review by the Medical Council and Regulators will take place before the scheduled start of Boxing in February.”
