Chris Hughes says he will propose to girlfriend of five months Annabel ‘very soon’

CHRIS Hughes has revealed that he was ready to propose “very soon” to girlfriend Annabel Dimmock after just 5 months.

It comes after the couple sparked engagement rumors after the professional golfer was pictured with dazzling jewelry on her ring finger Romantic getaway to Maldives.

The Love Island star, 28, said he is wondering with the direction of his relationship and feels “extremely stable” after the pair moved in together late last year.

“It won’t be long… Even Annabel’s friends texted her when we went to the Maldives last month, it was last minute,” Chris told Online email.

“Everybody thinks because of the time of year that I’m going to propose. I don’t know if Annabel… her mother said to her ‘do you think Chris could propose?’

“I’m a very family oriented person, that’s just the way I was raised and so is Annabel’s family.”

He added: “I feel very settled because I just moved into a new house before November.

“I’ve been extremely stable my whole life and that’s where I want to be.”

The couple recently enjoyed a sun-soaked holiday in the Maldives, which got fans talking after they discovered blood stains on her finger.

The duo can’t take their hands or eyes off each other in the clip as they repeatedly glance affectionately at each other in their Scuba Diving gear.

Eagle-eyed fans will notice that professional golfer Annabel, 24, lifted what appeared to be her left hand to her face as she giggled at her chubby pooch.

Annabel drew attention to the jewelry on her wedding finger as a dazzling silver ring sparkled on her left hand.

But this isn’t the first time a photo posted on their social media has sparked engagement rumors for the couple.

Another photo posted to Chris’ Instagram account during their dreamy Maldives vacation shows the Love Island star carefully holding the brunette beauty’s left hand on the beach.

Fans in the comments asked to know if he had “asked questions.”

Former Towie star Mario Falcone commented: “Is she right?”

While another fan begged: “Tell us you’re engaged. You two are the cutest when you’re together!”

A third question: “Have you proposed?”

And another follower shared their thoughts, writing: “I can see a ring for Christmas.”

In October, Chris told The Sun he knew Annabel is ‘The One’ after only two months together.

“Yes, I think she could be the One…hopefully that marriage, that would be the dream,” he said at the time.

“We have a lot in common and we are moving at the same time.

“Our relationship and our morals and I think that’s very important in relationships today. It’s important that both of you are on a level playing field and in the same common space.

“It went very well and I couldn’t be happier.”
