Reality TV star Chrishell Stause was very close to leaving the show after going through a very public divorce from actor Justin Hartley.

Chrishell Stause is close to leaving Semi Sunset amid her very public divorce from actor Justin Hartley.
The 40-year-old reality TV star and real estate agent has shared about the ‘humiliating’ experience she went through, which made her think twice about her decision to continue starring in the Netflix show.
Their breakup aired during series three of the show, with Chrishell saying she was ‘blinded’ when Justin texted her saying he had filed for divorce.
Divorce is the most humiliating and public thing you can go through,” she said on Dear Media’s Lipstick on the Rim podcast.
Chrishell continued: “I still had to shoot a reality show, it had to continue with that or quit and I wanted this new career so I ended up staying.
“I got over it and I just had to open up and I think that’s better than pretending everything is okay.”
The star went on to reveal she turned to therapy during difficult times.
She added: “Therapies are a great tool. I don’t have much control over how it happens so I have to take care of myself.”
Chrishell wrote a book titled Under Construction: Because My Best Life Got A Small Job, which she started at the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

In the end, she revealed that she had changed as a person.
The star added: “I had to go through a lot of heavy lifting, we were locked up so there was nothing to do. By the end of the book, I was in such a better head space. You should always try on myself. I get a lot of people connected to what I write and talk about.”
Chrishell also went on to explain that during filming for Semi-Twilight, she was alluded to to set up the plot and the meetings.
She said: “The show is a blessing but you are put in difficult situations and normally you would never put yourself in but I have learned to deal with it for all the good things that happen. the program gave me.
“It has its pros and cons but there’s more to it. They aren’t necessarily the person or conversation I’m going to meet but they are.”
She concluded, “It’s hard to promote the show when people aren’t in, but it looks like things are going in the right direction.”
The recently released New Year’s series follows Chrishell’s new relationship with Jason Oppenheim, who she eventually breaks up with because he doesn’t want children.
However, for now, the reality star is completely single.
She said on the podcast: “I always keep an open mind. The important thing is when you’re happy with yourself and I don’t think about it too much. I’ve entered a new era of my life, now i’m at the content.
“The show made dating harder, I showed up on a date and the other person knew all this about me because my life was all recorded. Or maybe everything. who watched the show and thought ‘oh I know who you would be good for.”
