Christina Perri posted a sweet video sharing the good news that she and husband Paul Costabile are expecting a baby girl

Singer Christina Perri shared the good news that she is expecting a baby girl with husband Paul Costabile.

The couple, now parents to 4-year-old daughter Carmella Stanley, posted an adorable clip on Instagram.

The video begins with a camera panning across the flower-covered sidewalk, toward the family’s front door.

Her daughter walked out the front door toward a brown box wrapped in a pink balloon sitting on the porch.

She opened it and found an ultrasound picture inside. Christina and Paul stood side by side as they celebrated the news.

“ Rosie sent carmella a little sister and we are delighted,” the singer captioned the post.

“We had all the emotions, but mostly trying every day to choose joy.”

Fans and friends rejoiced at the news and entered the comments section to congratulate the growing family.

“Over the moon for you!” one user commented while another added: ” So happy for mom! “

One follower wrote: “ So happy for you and your beautiful family!!!!! “and another said:” Still sobbing over this, my friend!!!!!! Just so excited for you!!!! “

The phenomenal news comes less than two years after the Jar of Hearts singer revealed that Rosie was ‘born in silence’.

The 35-year-old singer shared a picture of herself holding her baby’s hand as she and husband Paul told followers their daughter had been “born in silence”.

The Thousand Years singer wrote in an emotional post on Instagram in November 2020: “Last night we lost our little girl. She was born in silence after fighting so hard. and to come to our world.”

“She is now at peace and will live forever in our hearts.”

Her husband also shared a similar photo, with the caption: “It’s been a rough couple of weeks and we’re so grateful for your love and prayers.”

Weeks after the heartbreaking post, she took to social media to update her fans on the pain the family is enduring.

“Some days we don’t know how to swim, some days we float. Every day we burst into tears and every day we find moments to laugh,” she said.

“It was all emotion, all emotion, all questioning, all anger, all sadness; all day long.

“Some moments of surrender and hope will be there, but not very often. I know that’s normal. Honestly, it’s mostly overwhelming.”

Christina also thanked those who have supported and helped the family through the heartbreak.
