ITV’s new reality sports show The Games will see 12 celebrities go head-to-head in a series of challenges, across a week of live shows.

Appearing on This Morning on Monday morning, Christine told hosts Phillip Schofield and Rochelle Humes about life at home during an intense workout for the ITV show.

Phillip asked Christine: “How’s Paddy with this?” He then joked: “Obviously Paddy as we know it is a chiseled Adonis, so how does he feel when you’re there?”

Christine replied that Paddy was “really happy,” saying, “He’s had a lot of time off work. He’s at home with the kids. He’ll be watching.”

She added: “It’s crazy how our lives have changed. Usually I’m there and he’s away for work, but that’s awesome. That’s good for all of us as a family.

“It shows the growth in me and the kids how we deal with change now and we are enjoying it. I love it. This is like a big holiday for me. “

Contestants joining Christine include Love Island alumnus Olivia Attwood, influencer Phoenix Brown, former serious expert and top man Kevin Clifton, pop star Max George, song writer Chelcee Grimes and Harry Potter actor Josh Herdman.

ITV announced: “Six male and six female competitors will fight in the athletics arena, swimming pool, gymnasium and stadium.

“Each person will test their athletic prowess in events ranging from the 100 meter sprint to diving, earning points on the medal standings.

“In addition to live coverage of events, each episode will feature celebrity preparations as they are taught the sport from scratch by some of the UK’s top coaches.

“Follow their grueling training program before the competition, because they want to reach their peak physical condition.

“As the leadership takes shape with each night, the series will culminate in an exhilarating final match in which a male champion and a female champion will be crowned.”

This Morning airs at 10 a.m. weekdays on ITV and ITV Hub.
