A TV star has shown his support for an “emergency demonstration” against the kidnapping of dozens of asylum seekers from a hotel.
Citizen Khan star Adil Ray OBE shared a poster for today’s protest on his Twitter feed.
Adil posted to say “thank you to the people of Brighton” for organizing the demonstration.
Protesters are said to descend on Brighton’s clock tower to urge the Government to take “urgent action” after dozens of children who were staying in hotels in Brighton and Hove were abducted.
A placard for the protest reads: “Why have 136 children disappeared in our city? Asylum-seeking children are missing from Home Office hotels in Hove and across the country.
“We will not accept that.
“Join us in calling on the UK Government to take urgent action to give children seeking safety the protection they deserve and end this neglect.”
