City Connection announces multiple releases of Saturn Tribute X Taito for the Nintendo Switch eShop

Layer Section & Galactic Attack S-Tribute will be released on April 28th

Japanese publisher City Connection has announced that it will bring it Layer section & Galactic Attack S tribute on the Nintendo Switch eShop and on several other platforms on April 28th. It follows an assessment earlier this year in February.

Layer Section is a 1995 home console port of the arcade shoot ’em up by Taito RayForce. The updated game for Switch combines the Sega Saturn home console version with the international release (known as Galactic Attack). It includes music improvements, quality of life features like rewind and slow features, and quicksaves. There’s also a new online ranked mode and the ability to change difficulty settings.

This game will be followed by other Saturn Tribute X Taito releases:

– Puzzle Bobble 2X and Puzzle Bobble 3
– Elevator action returns
– Metal black
– Cleopatra luck

About S tribute series – Reprints of classics produced and developed with the Zebra Engine during City Connection’s Saturn era.
