ENERGY bills are inevitable.
We often try to find ways to reduce usage and reduce our monthly spending.
One TikToker, organization expert @ Carolina.McCauley, says at least she knows One way we can reduce our carbon footprint—And we can save ourselves time doing so.
Her secret refers to how we clean our clothes.
While a laundry’s wash cycle is usually relatively quick, it can take hours for clothes to dry in the next machine.
But Carolina says if you add a clean, dry towel to your laundry pile, you can cut that time by 30 percent.
All you need to do is put the towel in the dryer with the clothes at the beginning of the cycle and take it out after 15 minutes.
The fabric’s properties will help absorb some of the moisture from your soaked clothes.
Carolina is an expert when it comes to tricks like these.
Recently, she posted a video recommending three different hacks to improve your home cleaning methods.
Her first tip is to separate the egg white from the yolk.
Instead of trying to balance the yolk between cracked eggshells and creating a mess, simply place a slotted spoon above the bowl and crack the egg into it.
The small slots of the slotted spoon will allow the whites to seep through but will keep the yolks in place.
Her second piece of advice is to clean your washing machine dispenser tray. Just pull the tray out and run it in the dishwasher.
The cleaning expert’s final tip solved the sticky detergent cap problem.
To remove residue from the lid by using it to pour detergent, simply toss the lid into the washing machine with a load of soiled laundry.
