Someone’s winning streak has to end at Castle Avenue today, with Division 1A league leaders Clontarf winning nine straight away and third-placed Terenure College, who lost 29-14 to ‘Tarf in October, proud on a 10-win streak Play.

Top duo Jake Swaine (53 points) and Craig Adams (9 tries) return to the back three for Terenure. Stephen O’Neill is benched, so Harrison Brewer takes over as captain and Mike Murphy is the final second-row substitute.

Clontarf’s Soroka brothers Ivan and Alex have strong family ties to Ukraine and the club will donate all the money from tonight’s goal to the Irish Red Cross Emergency and Humanitarian Fund for Ukraine. There will also be a bucket collection.

Fresh out of Leinster last week, Max O’Reilly and Jack Dunne will appear for Dublin University in their must-win clash against the Cork Constitution. O’Reilly’s presence at full-back sees Rob Russell return to the right wing.

Trinity, who are 11 points behind fourth-placed Cork Con, also welcome captain Mick O’Kennedy at half-time. They have lost to Lansdowne and Terenure in the past two weeks, while their October trip to Cork resulted in a 32-13 loss.

Lansdowne’s journey to Young Munster sees Stephen Madigan start in the middle, with Ben Popplewell and Joey Szpara changing up front.

For tonight’s Colors match at the Mardyke, UCC head coach Neil Lucey is making four personnel changes from the side that lost 12-7 to Young Munster. Billy Kingston, Richard Thompson and Jack O’Sullivan are brought into the pack.

George Coomber makes way for Louis Bruce at full-back as the Cork youngsters look to avenge a 40-31 defeat in October.

Leinster Academy back rowers Rory Mulvihill, Jonathan Fish and Seán O’Brien are the UCD’s three changes at the helm. Chris Hennessy moves to the tighthead position and Diarmuid Mangan, who has impressed for Leinster U-19 this season, returns to the back row.
