The trial between Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney comes after months of preliminary hearings on the high-profile case surrounding Ms. Rooney’s allegations.

The libel trial, known as the ‘Wagatha Christie trial’, between Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy will begin today.
It started at London’s Royal Court of Justice, with Vardy suing Rooney for defamation. It is set to last for seven days.
Coleen is said to be arriving at London court with a leg injury after being injured a few months ago. She was accompanied by her husband Wayne.
The WAG wore a long black blazer and black trousers while holding a bag. Her husband Wayne came to her.

Immediately after Rebekah Vardy arrived with her bodyguard – husband Jamie Vardy was not by her side.
The trial comes after months of preliminary hearings on the high-profile case surrounding Rooney’s allegations.
In October 2019, Wayne Rooney’s wife accused wife Jamie Vardy of disclosing ‘false stories’ about her private life to the press.
Rooney came to the conclusion after doing a month-long surgery where she used her Instagram Stories to post mock scenarios and track which ones ended up in the news.
Ms Vardy, 40, denied the allegations and sued Ms Rooney for libel damages over a ‘false and baseless defamation attack’.

In a lengthy Instagram post in 2019, Ms Rooney accused Ms Vardy of leaking stories about her to the press.
At the end of the post, she said: “I have saved and screenshot all of the original stories which clearly shows only one person has viewed them. That’s………account by Rebekah Vardy.”

She previously posted a story about traveling to Mexico to learn about “gender selection”, getting back to TV, as well as the flooded basement of her new home – all of which have been reported. shared with The Sun.
She said she changed her Instagram privacy settings so that only Vardy’s account can see the stories.
Immediately after Rooney’s accusation, Vardy publicly responded on Instagram and vehemently denied any involvement.
Last week, sources claimed the final legal bill for the battle between Rooney and Vardy could run up to £3m.
A legal source told the Mirror: ‘The cost of a case like this is huge but it’s not entirely surprising if both women refuse to back down.
