Colin Farrell has said that his former co-star and close friend Jeremy Renner are “doing well” following his horrific snow plow accident.
Mr Dubliner revealed how he got in touch with Renner, whom he co-starred in 2003’s SWAT, after the 52-year-old was left in a “critical but stable condition” following the incident.
Speaking at the National Jury’s Annual Awards Gala in New York on Sunday, Farrell, 46, said: “Yes, I’ve been in touch. He is doing well, I believe.”
He added: “Every prayer is with him.”
Earlier this month, it was reported that the Hawkeye star was helping a family member who was trapped in heavy snow when the incident occurred, with a 911 report revealing that he was “crushed” by a snow excavator. completely flattened”.
The Irish actor also hinted at his new film, The Banshees of Inisherin, directed by Martin McDonagh, in which Farrell begins with Barry Keoghan and Brendan Gleeson.
McDonagh’s black comedy sees Farrell play Pádraic Súilleabháin, an Inisherin resident struggling to accept the fact that his best friend Colm Doherty (Gleeson) no longer wants to be associated with him.

Jeremy underwent two surgeries for chest injuries and orthopedic injuries after he was crushed by a 14,330 lb snow plow on New Year’s Day near his home in Nevada.
According to Washoe County Sheriff Darin Balaam, Renner was clearing snow on a private driveway when his snow cat started rolling away and he was injured trying to get back in his car.
Since the accident, Renner has shared photos from the hospital documenting his long road to recovery.
Several of his other co-stars have rallied around Renner since his accident, with Chris Pratt and Chris Hemsworth both sending well wishes in recent days.
