Comedian Kevin Hart greets fans during a tour in Belfast

Kevin Hart wowed fans in Belfast with an impromptu tour of the city centre.

he prankster from Philadelphia is in Northern Ireland to film the new Netflix heist comedy elevator.

He also caused a stir during his stay in the region when he announced a last minute gig at The Limelight in town on Wednesday, for which tickets appeared to sell out within hours on Monday.

Earlier this month, Hart caused a stir when he took to the stage during a comedian program at another venue, Lavery’s, before giving an intimate performance at The Limelight.

On Monday morning he was spotted outside the Europa Hotel, a venue once notorious for being the most bombed hotel in Europe.

He took the time to chat with several people as he headed to the nearby Crown Bar.

The historic pub, which dates back to Victorian times and has received royal visitors in the past, serves as one of the backdrops for elevatorfilmed primarily at Belfast Harbor Studios.

It is directed by F. Gary Gray, best known for films including Direct from Compton, The Italian Job and Men in Black: International.
