Comic Relief: Paddy and Alesha solve technical problems

Comic Relief viewers couldn’t help but be confused when a technical error occurred just minutes after tonight’s show.

Lenny Henry, Alesha Dixon and Paddy McGuiness are organizing a charity event, raising money for needy people around the world, but when they try to make a special version of Mind Mangler – inspired by The Play That Goes Wrong, another clip was played, leaving people watching at home very bewildered.

Onlookers at home were surprised to see a man standing on stage, who at first thought it was part of the performance, before the feed was cut back to the live show where Alesha and Paddy is standing on the main stage.

Alesha and Paddy were present at that time

“Twenty minutes later and we had technical difficulties. We liked that. #comicrelief“, wrote one online viewer.

One second to share: ” #comicrelief That definitely messes with my mind”, while a third wrote: “What happened there?! #comicrelief. ”

However, others questioned why Alesha thought it was over – as when they returned, she read straight from the auto and thanked the team behind the Mind Mangler segment.

“Alesha really thinks the Magic Goes Wrong sketch only lasts 10 seconds..? #ComicRelief“, one fan wrote online.

They were going to show a piece of Mind Mangler, but it was broadcast without any sound

Others think it could be part of the show, claiming that it was inspired by the play The Play That Goes Wrong.

“Is it wrong that I can’t really tell if that Mind Mangler bit is really supposed to happen or is it a real technical error? #comicrelief“, one confused viewer wrote on Twitter.

Lenny Henry is heading Comic Relief, who founded the charity with Richard Curtis in 1985.

Writing for The Mirror about the importance of charity work, he said: “Times are tough. Across the country, as we slowly emerge from the pandemic, thousands of people are struggling with the cost of living. increased activity.

“Many people are forced to choose between heating and eating. And this is taking a toll on our mental health as a nation.”

He added: “In difficult times, I’ve seen how community organizations plug the cracks in society when life gets tough. From donating and volunteering at food banks, to make friends with elders who are cut off from society.”

Mind Mangler then re-shot the entire scene that fans had come to expect when Paddy addressed the mistake.

“Remember when we did live broadcast and it wasn’t going in the right direction? This time it’s definitely going in the right direction,” he told viewers.
