Concern for the well-being of the missing 63-year-old man from Bognor

Police today warned of an increased presence as they continue to search for a missing man.

More officers will be in the Elmer area of ​​Bognor today, Tuesday 2nd August, as they attempt to locate David Stokes.

David was last seen at his home address in the village around 10:30am on Saturday 16 July.

He is described as being 5’10”, of medium build and with gray hair. It is not known what clothes he is currently wearing.

David has ties to Dorset, particularly the Poole and Lyme Regis areas.

Detective Sergeant Alan Fenn of the West Sussex Missing Persons Team said: “David has been missing for some time and we are growing concerned for his wellbeing, as well as his family and friends.

“The investigation is ongoing and we hope that a day of action in his area will shed new light on his whereabouts and lead to his being brought to safety.

The Argos:

“We would ask residents to check all sheds, outbuildings and garages for David and report anything suspicious immediately. Officers will also be conducting house-to-house investigations while we try to track him down.”
