The woman said her friend already has two boys, but is calling names because there is a possibility that she has a third child who is also a boy.
She wrote: “I’m three months pregnant with my first child. I told a good friend a particular name I liked, and she said ‘Oh. You really can’t use it.’ We want to use it for our last. Honey if it’s a boy and that’s going to be awkward.’
“For some reason, she’s had a four-year-old boy and a baby boy born last month. I’m a little upset by this and still consider using the name, especially since because she’s calling ownership of a name for the child that’s due in the next 3-5 years, be it a boy or not?”
The woman insists her friend may have used the name for her newborn son but chose not to, so she doesn’t feel like she needs to come up with a new nickname for her baby.
