Conor McGregor and Paulie Malignaggi renew rivalry over fight with Jake Paul

McGregor and Maligngaggi exchanged once again on social media, with the Irishman claiming he left the Americans like a “seesaw” after their previous session

Conor McGregor and Paulie Malignaggi exchanged words during a new social media controversy with the American claiming the UFC star would be “light work”.
McGregor and Malignaggi fought as part of the Irishman’s preparations for his big fight with Floyd Mayweather back in 2017.
But former world champion Malignaggi stormed out of camp after footage was released showing him being knocked out by McGregor.
The New Yorker has always denied he was disqualified, claiming that McGregor manipulated the video.
And Malignaggi rekindled the feud between the couple on social media, on Twitter: “I agree with Jake Paul. Conor is light work “after YouTube star Paul had Criticize McGregor’s boxing posture and technique in the new training scene.
The former boxing star Malignaggi continued his tussle when asked by a fan if he could beat McGregor, quickly replying: “He’s not useless.”
McGregor quickly shot back at his former fighting opponent, writing alongside a canvas photo of Malignaggi from the session: “I’ve left you like a little seesaw.”
The pair were dueled in a wits session that involved a contested takedown with the 41-year-old storming out of his partner’s camp after a heated confrontation.
Malignaggi has regularly called out McGregor since that fight after the Irishman released a series of photos mocking the star publicly since then.
And the retired boxer believes he has what it takes to beat McGregor in the boxing ring after his defeat to Poirier in the UFC.

“I mean, I won’t overlook anything but I don’t think Conor McGregor Malignaggi told me before SiriusXMBoxing.
“The only way for me to fight Conor McGregor is if it’s the all-winner at this point. I’m not going to fight Conor McGregor, there won’t be any kind of negotiation win-lose or we don’t. not fight.
“At this point, he made people believe he was better and had more money in the pot. He made more money fighting me than anyone other than Jake Paul.
“So, I don’t think he has such a deal, so there should be no fight.”
Malignaggi is one of many fighters who have called for a clash with McGregor after his defeat to Mayweather.
YouTube star Paul believes he has what it takes to beat the UFC star in a cross-match and frequently claims the clash.
McGregor is planning a UFC revival as he returns from injury having lost three of his last four fights in MMA since taking on Mayweather.
