McGregor watched as Ferguson was brutally crushed by Michael Chandler in their easy fight at UFC 274

Conor McGregor wasted no time fooling Tony Ferguson after the UFC star was brutally knocked out.
Ferguson remained face down on the canvas after receiving a front kick to his chin in the second round of his light clash with Michael Chandler at UFC 274. He was taken to the hospital but later released after a CT scan was clear.
And McGregor, who previously shared a management company with Ferguson, took to social media to liken Ferguson’s crushed face to a chicken nugget. Ferguson had previously branded McGregor the “McNuggets” after the pair teased a fight throughout their career in the UFC.
And the Irishman moved quickly to mock the star, tweeting: “Tony had been building up some great nuggets in the media. He was then kicked in the chin by Punt and turned into a nugget himself. That’s crazy.” He later posted a picture of Ferguson from the fight with the caption, “If you pulled that out of a McDonald’s bag you’d dip it in sauce and eat it without a second thought. Without a doubt. That would pass as a legitimate McDonald’s chicken nugget. That’s crazy!”
McGregor and Ferguson have had a strained relationship since the latter left Paradigm Management. Ferguson last week attacked fighters he claims are receiving preferential treatment from UFC President Dana White, prompting McGregor to react on social media.

“Tony Ferguson, who changes deputies about four times a year, says it’s someone else’s fault that he’s in the position he’s in,” he wrote. “How many bridges do you break before you look in the mirror and say, ‘Maybe the problem is me?’ God bless you mate, I’ll say a prayer.”
Ferguson has now lost four straight fights after previous losses to Charles Oliveira, Justin Gaethje and Beneil Dariush. He is out of contention for an easy title shot after failing five fights against former champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Oliveira choked Gaethje in the UFC 274 main event to ensure he shot first to the vacant 155-pound title after the Brazilian’s belt was stripped for failing to gain weight on Friday. McGregor, Chandler and Islam Makhachev are among the names in contention for the strap.
