Conor McGregor is leaving fans looking for the next McDonald’s after an accidental tweet

Conor McGregor let fans down when he accidentally tweeted that he was looking for a McDonald’s meal.

The MMA star later said he thought he was using the Google search engine and not the social media platform.

Fans were left confused as he tweeted: “McDonald’s near me in St Tropez, still open. I am,” before realizing his mistake as his account was flooded with replies.

“Sorry that was meant for Google hahahhaa,” the star added to the amusement of his fans, before adding, “I’m starving hahahahahah.”

Earlier, McGregor agreed to challenge Michael Chandler to a fight following his Saturday night UFC win over Tony Ferguson.

In his post-fight interview, the American said: “I have one guy on my mind – Conor McGregor.

He added: “I’m the most entertaining lightweight in the world. I want to up the ante, Conor. I want you at your greatest, I want you at your worst, and I want you at your best.”

McGregor appeared to agree with the challenge on Twitter, writing: “I’m definitely ready to fight this guy at some point in my career. I see it happening after tonight.”
