Conor McGregor’s sister Erin endured ‘tough night’ with son Harry (6 years) in hospital

Conor McGregor’s sister Erin has opened up about her “tough evening and night” after son Harry ended up at Tallaght hospital.

rin explains that because Harry (6) is a non-verbal and has sensory problems, it is difficult to gauge exactly what is making him feel unwell.

She said: “We had a rough evening and night last night. The parts of autism I fear and hate.

“He’s fine. Tallaght Hospital seems to really understand children with ASD very well.

“They just get it, they know how to approach the struggles we face.”

In a two-part Instagram story, she revealed that these are the “parts I fear and hate on autism”.

“We stay at home but most of the night. I will stay for the next few days because I still have work to do here but Harry will always come first.

“I’ve got some pre-recorded content for times like these.”

In the next tick, she continued: “We knew what was wrong when we had this problem two years ago and couldn’t dig deep into it.

“Hospitals kept sending us home.

“This never goes away, we just manage but it flares up every now and then.

“This is why we worked so hard on Harry’s gut. They say your gut is your second brain.

“But since he can’t tell us we have to watch everything very carefully to make sure we don’t miss something sinister.”

Just last week, Erin revealed how her son “evolved and grew up as the best little man” in a heartwarming new Instagram post.

She is pictured with Harry getting into the Halloween spirit.

Erin wrote: “I never thought we’d get to the point where we knew he knew what Halloween was, let alone so excitedly joined in the fun of it all.

“Every year he shows us how he’s progressed and grown as the best little man.”

A week ago Erin announced that she would “never give up fighting” for her son.

Erin shared a photo of her little boy wearing a special seat belt designed to help people understand Harry’s behavior in an emergency.

Seat belts read: “Autism without words. Unable to respond. May resist help. Do not leave unattended. Emergency contact details inside this belt cover. “

Accompanying the photo, the mother of two shared an emotional caption highlighting the difficulties she faces as a mother of a child with a developmental disability.

“Harry’s seat belt cap,” she began.

“Things that parents of a child with a disability must consider. Things that keep us up at night. Those hidden parts that you don’t ‘get’ unless you ‘get it’.

“Things money can’t buy for all the kids out there whose mom says I don’t know anything about money.

“I would never normally say it here, but today I am tired of the disgusting disregard of empathy for any person with a disability regardless of their circumstances, we are faced with. enough disregard in the system.”

She continued: “My child may not have a voice (sic) but I will never give up fighting for his rights in this world.

“No one has to struggle to have their needs met, especially our most vulnerable but unfortunately they have been let down by those who were supposed to help them. To all the parents out there doing the best (sic), we see you, we feel you, we hear you. “
