Corrie: Abi Franklin loses custody of baby Alfie in court case

Coronation Street fans were anticipating how Imran Habeeb might get off the ITV channel when Abi Franklin’s defense attorney appeared in court Wednesday night.

Abi (Sally Carman) heads to court as she fights for custody of her children, with Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) in the courtroom to show her support.

In court, the local government attorney listed a series of horrifying reasons Abi was an unsuitable mother and why Alfie should be cared for.

Imran (Charlie De Melo) then defended Abi’s case, doing everything in his power to convince the judge that Abi had changed and is now clean.

But Toyah then suggested to Imran that he did all he could for Abi and that it was time to step back and focus on Elsie’s adoption hearing – prompting many fans to speculate. that she might even be involved in his case.

Taking to Twitter, one fan asked: “Did Toyah start working on that?”

Another wrote: “Oh! Did the coin drop for Toyah there in the end???? !!!!!! ”

But in later scenes, viewers witness Abi turning on Imran, forbidding him to meet Alfie.

Her decision resulted in the attorney calling her home, saying he would do whatever was necessary, even if it meant putting his name on the birth certificate.

Standing outside the door before Abi let him into her apartment, Imran yelled, “You can’t stop me from seeing my son!”

The exclamation left some fans wondering if this or a similar outburst could prove Imran is undoing, revealing secrets to Toyah and the possibility of getting him out of Weatherfield.

When Toyah stumbles upon Abi carrying a package, which contains Alfie’s papers, and finds her acting strange, she assumes she’s back on drugs and warns her estranged husband Kevin Webster mine.

Kevin then goes to find the package while Abi is making tea and discovers the birth certificate stating that Imran is the father. How will Kevin react to this news?
