The CORONATION Street star’s boyfriend, Nathan Chilton, underwent surgery to remove a benign bone tumor in his pelvis.
The brave chiropractor has documented his condition on YouTube and Instagram, with his latest videos showing him post-surgery after undergoing physical therapy.
Nathan was scheduled to have surgery on December 29 but it was canceled with just minutes remaining because the consultant had become ill.
Having fasted for more than a day, decided to reschedule about a week later.
The experience was an emotional roller coaster for Nathan, who said on his blog that he faced fear and anxiety about the process before suddenly being told it wasn’t happening. .
His biggest concern is that a private titanium implant made in Germany will no longer be usable.
Nathan called the cancellation the biggest protest climax ever but reassured fans that his positive thinking has kept him steady.
Speaking yesterday from the hospital bed, he said: “The second physical session of the day. I tried to sit up on the edge of the bed, transfer myself to the commuter car, get up from the zimmer and walk. three steps.”
Sair said she was overwhelmed by the messages she received and wrote: “I am so proud of him because he is so open and vulnerable in the hope that others will not feel alone. so.”
