Coronation Street’s Kelly Neelan is devastated when her father’s dead body is discovered after three years

Kelly Nelan’s father and loan shark Rick, played by Greg Wood, terrorized the residents of Coronation Street during his short life on cobblestones in 2019.

Kelly Neelan is devastated next week when her father’s dead body is finally discovered after three years.

Borrowing Shark Rick, played by Greg Wood, terrorized the residents of Weatherfield during his brief stay on cobblestones in 2019.

Among those tormented by Rick was Gary, whom he tried to kill by luring him into the woods and claiming he had Sarah, his girlfriend at the time.

Gary discovered a grave that Rick dug during his plan to bury him after killing him.

After a violent fight between them, Gary tries to get above and then comes the news that he killed Rick.

The police arrived and called Kelly that they had found Rick’s body

The loan shark has ‘disappeared’ and Gary takes over the loan shark business, with Rick’s daughter Kelly and wife Laura believing he is on the run from the police.

But next week on ITV, Kelly was horrified when she discovered on her phone that police were at the new County training ground looking for a body.

Gary and Maria struggle to hide their panic.

Gary killed Rick in self-defense after a loan shark plotted to kill him

When a body is discovered at the construction site, Kelly is desperately hoping that her father is still alive – but DS Beckett dashes her hopes when they confirm that they have found Rick’s body.

Kelly had a mental breakdown and later confided in Maria how she felt both her parents let her down.

Gary, contrary to his guilt, tells Maria that he wants to confess to Rick’s murder.

Maria is horrified and tries her best to beg Gary to reconsider when she tells him he will ruin their family and Kelly’s life.

What will Gary do?
