Coronation Road: Abi Faces Imran and Toyah For Baby Alfie
Coronation Street fans claim that Toyah Battersby is playing her fiancé Imran Habeeb – so she can get her hands on his baby.
Viewers watched Toyah (Georgia Taylor) bring Imran (Charlie de Melo) back last week after discovering he had cheated on her with Abi Webster (Sally Carman).
Not only that, but he also had a baby with a heroin addict after a night of drunkenness.
Sadly, Toyah is unable to have children and after failing to adopt Elsie, this may be her only chance to be a mother.
While Toyah says she wants to try again with Imran – with the pair even engaged – Corrie fans are not convinced.

One fan theory is that Toyah could actually help Abi regain custody of baby Alfie – and is just pretending to get back with Imran.
“Literally praying for a change that Toyah is playing Imran and will avenge her by helping Abi gain custody of Alfie,” one viewer wrote on Twitter.
Another said: “I REALLY, REALLY hope that Toyah will play Imran as a good friend and pretend to be on his side to make sure Abi gets the sole custody of Alfie… Doubles if Abi also joins.”

“Toyah is definitely playing Imran like a fool. Cheer up girl,” a third added.
While a fourth fan was more skeptical about the plot, saying: “I still don’t believe Toyah will forgive Imran that easily. I will never forgive someone who cheated on me.”
What we do know is that Charlie De Melo, who plays lawyer Imran, will be leaving the soap at the end of the year.
But the plot of his escape is yet to be revealed, so will he win custody of baby Alfie?

Talking about his on-screen character, actor Charlie – who got to the cobblestones in 2017 – said he thinks Imran is “selfish” and really lives for himself.
I said Manchester Evening News : “I think he’s a lot more selfish than he would allow.
“I think he presents himself as a hero and wants to be seen as a hero – but I don’t think anything he does, really, is selfless.
“He’s shown that when he’s done wrong with those he claims to love and is closest to, he’ll do everything he can to shirk responsibility.”
In March, The Sun reported that although Charlie had “loved his time on the soap,” he believes now is the right time to try new things.
The source said he will continue to “appreciate” his time at Corrie but “want to see what else is out there”.
Coronation Road airs on ITV every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm
