Corrie airs Fiz Brown’s ‘exit’ as she leaves the street after 20 years – but she’s not alone

Coronation Street’s Fiz Brown got her off the ITV famous pebbles on Monday alongside three other characters, while the characters will stay with the show.

Coronation Street aired a variety of types on ITV on Monday night, as Fiz Brown left the famous pebbles after nearly 21 years – but she’s not alone.

Fiz, played by actress Jennie McAlpine, first moved to the street in 2001, when she was raised by Hayley and Roy Cropper as a teenager.

But now, Fiz has left before her eyes with new partner Phill and daughters Hope and Ruby.

That said, the character has yet to fully depart and will remain a character, with actress Jennie not leaving the role.

Instead, Fiz will no longer live on the famous street she spent two decades of her life on, while it is unknown if the move will be permanent.

When she said goodbye, as she prepared to move into a big new home with Phill, Fiz couldn’t help but get emotional.

Reminiscing about her time living on the pebbles, after opening up to her ex Tyrone Dobbs, she admits she has many memories, both good and bad.

She told Phill: “I’m so excited, I’ve only been on this street for 20 years. You know, 2001, when Roy and Hayley raised me.”

Phil said to her, “You’ve got a lot of memories,” to which she replied, “Good and bad.”

While Evelyn talks about her moving out with her nephew Tyrone’s children, mocking her for moving into a big house, Fiz ignores her and gets in the car.

The family then drove away as Tyrone waved them goodbye, hiding the pain of his departure.

Tyrone had previously told Fiz that she deserved the house and the move for her and the girls, despite Evelyn urging him to tell his ex how he really felt.

Instead, he said he was happy for all of them and encouraged them to go and start their new lives from the street.

Upcoming scenes will show Fiz still having doubts about leaving, as she returns to the streets to meet her friends.

Then she will learn Tyrone’s true feelings that he won’t want to be with her and the girls anymore.

But what will Fiz do with this information, and can we expect an imminent return?
