Corrie fans distracted by ‘invisible’ character as Daisy learns about Daniel’s past

Coronation Road: Daisy uncovers Daniel’s dark secret

Daisy Midgeley was shocked when Daniel Osbourne made a huge confession in Coronation Street last night.

However, fans were further distracted by a missing and “invisible” character when Daniel went to the pub to meet Daisy, before revealing the truth about his friendship with returning character Nicky Wheatley .

When Sinead Tinker dies in a story about monstrous cancer, Daniel struggles to cope and runs into Nicky, but he doesn’t know she is a sex worker and after they are together , he suddenly realized she was charging.

Although they never slept together, Daniel paid to have Nicky dress up like his ex as he struggled with his grief.

Here’s the confession he made to a shocked Daisy on last night’s episode, but fans watching were more distracted by the apparently ‘missing’ child Bertie, who Daniel has with her Sinead’s late wife.

On Twitter, one rabid fan wrote: “Ooh Bertie, invisible child, just mentioned”, while adding a second, “I’ll take these to say thank you for taking care of Bertie … Daniel said while in the pub and someone else was taking care of the invisible Bertie!”

A third shared: “#Corrie So does Ken have Bertie now? Beth & Kirk had him before…”

“Haven’t seen Bertie spend any time with Dad during the half-term break,” wrote the fourth, with a fifth: “Will we ever see Bertie again or shall we see him again when he is? turned 18. …?”

The sixth added: “Think I can take a tour of Coronation Street and see if I can find Bertie, like a real person like Where’s Wally.”

Daisy discovers Nicky’s past when she tries to trap her love rival with another man.

However, it is revealed that Ashley knows Nicky under her working name and explains to Daisy why they have met before. Stunned, Daisy tells Daniel what she discovered and warns him to tell the school.

Fans are now convinced that the pairing won’t last, as Daisy forces Daniel to choose between her and Nicky for good.

“Well, that revelation definitely rocked Daisy’s cage. Can’t see this relationship for long,” wrote one, as another added: “Daisy has turned into a little psycho and I really love it #Corrie #CoronationStreet.”
