Corrie: Abi Franklin faces baby shock in the teaser trailer

Coronation Street’s Abi Franklin will be forced to open up about her recent alcohol and drug addiction after she ended up in hospital.

Abi fell off the car during Sunday night’s episode as she tried to bury the pain of losing her son Seb.

New ITV pictures show Abi in labor after finding out she’s pregnant – but could it be Imran Habeeb’s baby?

Abi and Imran had a one night stand last year and Abi was devastated when her husband Kevin Webster found out about it last week.

Since Kevin left her, Abi has been on a rocky road, turning to cocaine during Sunday’s hour-long episode.

Hanging out with her drug dealer and listening to music, Abi was spotted complaining of back pain – but she clearly had no idea she was pregnant.

The couple then stole one of the sports cars from the garage, but Abi felt very unwell and asked her dealer to stop the car.

Abi was obviously already in labor and told him she needed to go to the hospital, but he panicked and left her on the side of the road as he drove off.

When she tried to call an ambulance, her phone went dead, but she was heard muttering, “I’m having a baby…”

In Monday night’s episode, a terrified Abi is forced to admit to the midwife that she’s been on cocaine and alcohol when she finally makes it to the hospital.

Fearing the consequences, Abi gives a false name when another contraction hits her and tries to come to terms with the fact that she is about to give birth.

A new teaser trailer released by ITV reveals that Abi is told she needs to deliver the baby immediately and then decides to make a runner out of the hospital.

The dramatic clip ends with Abi ramming a car into a container as she lands unconscious with her face against the steering wheel airbag.
