Corrie spoilers for next week: Tragic car crash and ‘perpetrator’ arrested

Coronation Street spoilers reveal death and life-changing scenes ahead on ITV, as the battle for baby Alfie’s custody takes a dark turn

Coronation Street is lining up dire scenes on ITV, as lives are in progress and characters could get in trouble with the law.

The ITV show appears to have confirmed an arrest will be on the cards next week – but is it related to the fatal car crash or Imran Habeeb lying in court about Abi Franklin?

The couple’s battle for custody of their son Alfie heats up, with Imran’s partner Toyah Battersby and Kevin Webster, Abi’s ex, both entangled in fierce waves.

There will be some special twists and style changes in the big episodes, amid the changing schedule – and here’s all we know for now…

Toyah and Imran fight for their lives

Toyah and Imran will be caught up in a car crash

Toyah and Imran will be caught up in a horrific car crash, putting both of them in grave danger.

It was later found that the brakes were not working, leading police to believe that the vehicle was vandalized.

The photos show Imran waking up in the wreck and trying to pull the injured Toyah out, as an ambulance will soon arrive and the pair are likely to be taken to the hospital.

But what caused the crash, and is the couple okay?

Special changes

There is the introduction of a quick scene at the beginning of the week

There’s the introduction of a brief scene earlier in the week, when Imran leaves a chilling message to Toyah about what he’s hiding from her.

Fans can also expect a flashback sequence over the weekend, confirming exactly what happened and what’s behind the crash.

Will it reveal someone at fault, and maybe more bomb blasts on the way?

Shock arrest

It is hinted to the vandals that someone will be arrested by the end of the week

It is hinted that someone will be arrested by the end of the week.

The soap has yet to confirm whether this has anything to do with the crash or Imran’s confession, but it appears this has something to do with the previous incident.

The police officers investigating the accident soon concluded that it might not have been an accident.

Abi and Kevin are both questioned by the police about their possible involvement, amid their feud with Imran.

With Kevin already working on the car before the crash, and Abi wanting Imran out of his life, could one of them really cause the incident?
