Corrie star Sally Dynevor shares a photo of her rarely seen husband during their trip to Rome

Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor enjoyed a sun-soaked trip to Rome with her rarely seen husband.

The 58-year-old actress has taken some time off to explore the Italian capital with Tim and one of their daughters, Harriet, 18.

Sally, who stars in the soap as Sally Metcalfe, has shared snaps from her vacation with fans online.

The family soaked up the story while taking a trip around the Roman Colosseum and strolling the cobbled streets.

She settled herself next to Tim on a flight of steps in front of a huge wooden door with a stone face carved over it.

She wore a blazer with a crossbody bag pulled over it and added a pair of white trainers – perfect for all those walks.

Tim, who was a writer and actor at Emmerdale Farm in 1972, donned a black jacket which he paired with skinny jeans and black sneakers.

The couple were married in 1995 and have three children together, although it’s not clear if their son Sam accompanied them on the sightseeing tour.

Sally recently gushed about her 25-year-old son, adding that she’s “so proud of him”.

After posting a spate of photos of her rarely seen son, she added the caption: “Happy Birthday to my beautiful son. I’m so proud of you. You will always be my little boy. @samdynevor.”

Daughter Harriet was also caught closing her eyes and throwing a penny into the world-famous Trevi Fountain.

Tradition has it that the tosser of the coin returns to Rome.

The actress gushed in her caption: “Make a wish @hattiedynevorr #trevifountain”

Her co-star and on-screen daughter Brooke Vincent was quick to comment, “Omg thought that was Phoebe!!!!” referring to Sally’s older daughter, before adding, “Picture of each other”
