Opening the street villain Ryan Clayton will join BBC’s Waterloo Road.

The actor who played the villainous rapist Josh Tucker on ITV soap – will return to screens later this year as part of BBC show reboot where he revealed that he will play a character called Mike.

Mike is set to become a semi-regular character in the new series and he will join fellow stars Corrie has been announced. Kym MarshRachel Leskovac, Sonia Ibrahim and Angela Griffin on the set of BBC One.

“Day 1”, he wrote on Twitter along with a camera emoji and a sign that says ‘Waterloo Road’ on it.

It comes later Kym has been confirmed to play Nicky Walters, a school canteen worker and a mother of two students on Waterloo Road.

Speaking of her casting, she said: “I’m delighted to be joining the amazing cast of Waterloo Road, it’s a pleasure to have the opportunity to return to Manchester and I can’t wait to be a part of it. family!”

And Rachel – who played the recently murdered Natasha Blakeman on ITV – Very happy to be part of the program.

Other actors participating in the show include EastEnders ‘Jo Coffey, who will play Wendy Whitwell, while actor Vincent Jerome, who has starred in films like Wonder Woman 1984 and Transformers: The Last Knight, will star as Vice President alongside Joe Casey, also the Deputy Head of Department and led by James Baxter from Still Open All Hours.






Angela Griffin, Katie Griffiths and Adam Thomas are all returning to Waterloo Road

Angela Griffin will return as much-loved teacher Kim Campbell, who has been promoted to Principal.

Talking about her role, Angela said: “I am really honored to be joining the new series Waterloo Road. It is exciting to be back in Kim’s place and I can’t wait to explore life. , her personality and the way she has evolved since we last saw her.

“The writers have planned some great storylines and I look forward to welcoming viewers back to Waterloo Road.”
